Maui, Our Mission is Clear

To bring healthcare, hope, and healing to every corner of the island paradise we all call home. Join us in our journey to make our island of Maui a healthier place for everyone here.

Community Support is Our Mission

MODO For The People, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was established on April 22, 2023, with a dedicated mission: to bring free or low-cost medical care to the underserved population on Maui. We were founded on the the belief that everyone should have access to competent medical care, regardless of income.

Without your support, we couldn’t help those who often neglect their health due to financial constraints. We believe quality medical care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Please consider making a donation to help us continue and expand our vital services. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact.

Mission Statement & Donation Letter

Aloha,

Continuing to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community, MODO MD is proud to announce the formation of MODO For The People, a Non-Profit Organization chartered to serve the people of Hawaii on a no and low cost basis. We believe access to competent medical care should not be dependent on income. Our mission is to provide quality free or low cost care to the underserved population on Maui and provide financial assistance to those who often put their healthcare at risk because access to medicine can be expensive. Our Public Charity can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from members and businesses of our community. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals, just like you, we would not be able to serve those in need.

MODO For The People is committed to aiding in the change needed so every patient gets the best care. When you see us in the neighborhoods, please come up and say hello as we love to meet each and every person on this remarkable day each week where we are so honored we are a part of now. We are delighted to announce that MODO for the People has received our letter of determination and is now an approved 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. Established as a nonprofit entity in the State of Hawaii on April 22, 2023, this status is a significant milestone in our mission to serve the community. Your gift to support our work may now be tax-deductible. Every contribution makes a difference, regardless of size. We write to ask you to consider a donation to our cause. We hope that you will help support our efforts in bringing quality medical care to all.

Mahalo in advance for your charitable generosity.

Sincerely,
Reza Danesh, MD & J Kelly Hoffman, RN
